LINDA HUNT, PhD, is a medical anthropologist specializing in medical health issues. She was a professor in the Department of Anthropology at MSU until her retirement this year. She conducted research projects in the US and Mexico,. She examines ways in which researchers and clinicians understand cultural and biological differences, and how these views affect clinical practice, professional training, research agendas and health policy affecting Latinos and other minority populations. Dr. Hunt has served on the Board since 2007, collaborating on research and service projects addressing the health needs of Latinos in Lansing.
